We want it all
These homeowners had some pretty tall orders for their kitchen: two ovens, a pantry, lots of storage, workspace for two people, the ability to entertain guests and accommodate pets within the space. Not too much to ask, is it? Of course not -they got everything they wanted and more. Locally made, the custom cabinets are stained alder with beautiful granite counter tops. Flooring is heated slate, a treat on cool west coast days!
The Noble Poushinsky kitchen is featured in the current issue of Canadian Homes and Cottages. - See article photos under our What's New Section area.

Just a little facelift
This kitchen/family room had a good layout, but the surfaces were tired and dated and suffered from harsh fluorescent lighting. We were able to salvage most of the cabinet boxes and made modifications to others in order to make the space more functional and aesthetically pleasing. Doors and drawer fronts were replaced with Cherry wood, lighting was changed to a combination of halogen pendants, recessed and under cabinet. New flooring, counters and tile backsplash helped to complete the look. The results speak for themselves - a warm and inviting space that functions beautifully all done on a minimal budget!

Heritage renewed
This pretty 1930's home was badly in need of a kitchen fitting both the era of the home and the ergonomic requirements of the homeowners. Only minor modifications were made to the layout of the space, but new windows, extra counter space, a larger sink and open storage made all the difference to the flow and appearance of the space. This kitchen utilizes both painted and lacquered Douglas fir in the cabinets and the floor.

West coast update
This 1980's kitchen and dining area was an awkward layout with dated fixtures and cabinetry, but what a great view! The kitchen was reorganised to focus on the view and create a connection between adjoining dining and family rooms. Locally made Alder cabinets with dramatic granite counters, and heated tile floors gave a rich, organic feel to this west coast contemporary home.
